2013 EARTH DAY at the Capitol!

This April 19th, 2013 join the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Office of Environmental Education’s Earth Day at the Capitol event, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee.

EARTH DAY at the Capitol!

Join the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Office of Environmental Education for an Earth Day at the Capitol event on April 19, 2013, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Florida state Capitol, Tallahassee. Earth Day attendees include a mixed audience of elementary, middle and high  school students and community members. More than 1,000 elementary students  attended previous Earth Day events. Green School Makeover Opportunity!!!

Attention all K-12 schools in Florida you are invited to enter this year’s Global Green USA: Green School Makeover Competition. Enter your  school for a chance to win $75,000 to retrofit your school plus approximately $65,000 of in-kind technical assistance. Top ten schools will receive Office Depot gift cards ranging from $1,000- $5,000. Deadline: March 31, 2013.
